Distinctively of Pairpoint Mfg. origin, this ruffled blown glass bowl was paired with an ornamental silver-plated frame from the same colonial factory that left a legacy of pickle casters, spooners and vinaigrette casters. It was believed that cranberry glass contributed health, wealth and prosperity to a home and was thus an appropriate wedding gift when our nation was young.
