Inspired by a folk legend, Rona lamented her marriage to a lazy fellow who refused to fetch water from the well for her. When she stepped out into the dark night and filled a gourd with water, a cloud concealed the moonlight causing her to trip and fall. She cursed the spill and was swept up by the moon for being ill-tempered and ungrateful. Rona fell in love with the moon, and when he offered to return her to earth she beseeched to stay. The moon wrapped her in a starry cloak and gave her power over the ocean tides. Her ghostly image is laser etched in a petite crystal orb that rests upon a silver metal base.
