It was once a widely practiced tradition on Christmas morn to pair up at the table with someone and tug both ends (wishbone style) of a festive paper bonbon that would pop! The winner with the larger end received a tissue party hat, and surprises from inside of it. Tom Smith was the mastermind of this delightful custom, so we have rendered his Victorian advertisement to a delightful card.
