Created lovingly in the likeness of his ancestor, this sweet-faced fellow will surely be mistaken for vintage.  Collectible Putz sheep, called matchstick sheep because their legs resembled burnt matches, got their name from the German verb "putzen"which means "to decorate".  They were used to adorn nativity scenes and kept faithful watch over the Christ child's crib.
